  • Overview

    The Director, Corporate events will report to the VP, Marketing and be responsible for driving the direction and execution of Continuum’s corporate presence at tier 1 industry tradeshows and company-driven events. As a member of the corporate marketing team, this person will develop, manage and measure a portfolio of internal and external event initiatives, including major industry events, global company events and be responsible for Navigate’s evolution.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and measure a portfolio of internal and external event initiatives.
    • Drive the execution of Continuum’s presence at major industry tradeshows and large-scale company-driven events.
    • Help to plan and execute Continuum’s user conferences, Navigate bringing together hundreds of partner professionals from across the globe.
    • Work closely with the broader marketing team to maintain consistency across all event branding, messaging and programs.
    • Partner with demand generation to drive high registration and maximize the success of each individual event.
    • Maintain a budget for large scale events and closely track spend against targets.
    • Research and understand personas for each event type to maximize impact.
    • Set success criteria, measure and report out the impact of each major event on awareness, engagement and pipeline acceleration metrics.
    • Validate event investment versus the ROI driven from each major event.
    • Develop strong cross-functional relationships to ensure involvement and input on event strategy from product, support, services and sales.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of event management experience working with B2B software
    • Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for data-driven marketing
    • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization
    • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
    • Excellent project management skills with an eye and attention for details
    • Self-motivated and must have the ability to manage multiple events at one time
    • Must be able to assess and prioritize workload in a strict deadline-driven environment
    • Event management software experience - Cvent or Aventri (etouches) preferred
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills - Excel & PowerPoint
