    Cybercrime is one of the biggest risks for SMBs around the world, and SMBs lack the tools and expertise to effectively protect them against the overwhelming threat landscape.  Continuum is committed to solving this problem.  As the trusted management platform for MSPs, Continuum can uniquely enable MSPs to offer new security services to their clients, providing a security solution that aligns with SMB’s needs and their business model.  This role will be a key leader in helping define the Continuum Security business, working with sales and Continuum’s partners, to drive adoption of new products to solve these challenges.

     

    The Security Sales Engineer will be a critical resource in helping our partners maximize the value from the Continuum Security Suite. This person will serve as the security expert within the Continuum Sales Organization and work with the Continuum worldwide sales force to drive the growth of Continuum Security Solutions.  This resource will be responsible for: ensuring MSPs understand how Continuum Security solutions can grow their business, facilitate new Security Product adoption and drive increased cyber security awareness within the organization and to the MSP market. Sales Engineers are responsible for the education and technical training for partners looking to adopt new products & services from Continuum.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as a pre-sales cyber security expert helping guide MSPs through their conversion to become security providers
    • Rapidly understand business and technical requirements for MSPs security direction and build responses to them with definite, high quality, and apt solutions.
    • Understand the security landscape and help MSPs understand how different solutions compliment/compete with one another to guide them to a comprehensive solution
    • Handle individual security specific and large integrated RFI/RFP responses end-to-end.
    • Provide customers with strategies, experiential learning and innovative solutions in the area of cyber security.
    • Share best practices, solving specific business problems differently from knowledge and experience.
    • Act as a cyber security subject matter expert, supporting marketing events – conferences, customer demos, capability show case, webinars, etc.
    • Conduct training sessions with individuals and groups both in-person and online.
    • Provide all necessary technical expertise to facilitate the Sales Qualification Process (MEDDIC).   
    • Act as an advocate and voice of the partner for internal teams, providing critical feedback on the Continuum Security solutions to Product Development, Service, and Marketing.
    • Willing to travel up to 25%.     

    Qualifications

    • Deep cyber security experience is a must. Working knowledge of tools and concepts such as: SIEM, endpoint protection, IDS, Firewall, vulnerability management, incident response.
    • Prior experience working in cybersecurity providing either a sales or service delivery role.
    • Previous demonstrated track record of success in a sales role, preferably in a technical sales or overlay role.
    • Experience working in a fast paced startup environment, comfort playing multiple roles and operating in a rapidly changing and growing area
    • Knowledge of compliance process and regulatory requirements such as: HIPAA, PCI, and NIST-800.
    • Prior experience with automation and orchestration of cyber security solutions.
    • Experience with CRM software, i.e. Salesforce, is a plus.
    • Understanding of infrastructure management concepts such as: Network Operation Centers, Configuration management, Patching, etc.
    • Security industry certification as plus
    • Must have strong written and oral communication skills and be self-directed and independent.
