  • Overview

    The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work directly with hiring managers and serve as an internal staffing resource throughout the hiring process. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage the entire full life-cycle of recruiting to include offering creative and effective staffing solutions, conducting needs analysis, posting openings, sourcing, screening and presenting qualified candidates for open positions.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Recruit, interview, check references and make offers for all positions
    • Own the candidate experience at all stages of the recruitment process from sourcing best talent, conducting effective and insightful screenings, making candidate recommendations to hiring managers, coordinating the interview process and ensuring a positive candidate experience
    • Partner with hiring manager and Human Resources to create job descriptions and talent profiles
    • Meet regularly with hiring managers to provide progress updates on requisition status, calibrate on targeted candidate profiles, seek out feedback on quality of candidate presented and align on potential changes in course of action and next steps as necessary
    • Partner with hiring managers to gain a strong understanding of their business and respective talent requirements and candidate profiles
    • Build networks to find qualified passive candidates
    • Develop and implement proactive sourcing strategies to build a pipeline of qualified candidates
    • Establish and maintain solid working relationships with hiring managers and potential candidates
    • Leverage social media to network for recruitment including LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Facebook, etc.
    • Improve the company website recruiting section to assist in recruiting efforts
    • Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates
    • Attend Networking / Career events and represent Continuum as a Talent Brand Ambassador
    • Work to efficiently and effectively fill all open positions
    • iCIMS subject matter expert
    • Provide recruiting reports for hiring managers and HR as needed
    • Performs final candidate reference checks
    • Provides verbal offer letter and negotiates salary
    • Prepare offer letters and rejection letters in a timely manner
    • Manage Employee Referral Program
    • Continuously look at new and innovative ways to improve the recruitment processes to meet growing business demands
    • Point of contact for temporary staffing agencies and hiring managers

    Qualifications

    • Social media savvy; ability to leverage social media to connect with top talent
    • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Possess the skills to profile people and assess candidates for cultural fit
    • Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
    • Ability to demonstrate pushback and a sense of urgency, and understand the value of providing best in class customer service
    • Exercise excellent judgment and professionalism
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
    • Computer savvy with applicant tracking systems (ATS) i.e. iCIMS, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
    • Minimum of 3+ years of a mix of corporate and agency recruiting support experience in a start-up, fast paced, high-tech environment
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
